Two residents of the Clarence Valley were inducted as Australian Citizens during a ceremony held at Sir Earle Page Library in Grafton last Thursday.
Sheba Pinote and Lomash Baral were welcomed as the newest Australian citizens by Clarence Valley mayor Richie Williamson.
“There are plenty of jobs to do as mayor, but this is the best of them,” said mayor Williamson.
The citizenship ceremony preceded the book launch of “World Culture on a Big River”, as part of celebrating cultural diversity in the Clarence Valley.
