Changed traffic conditions and night work for Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions and night work on the Pacific Highway from Monday 21 October to Sunday 27 October for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade.

From Monday, there will be six days of work adjacent to the Pacific Highway near Bondi Hill Road, Tyndale and near the intersection of Cameron Street and the Pacific Highway, Maclean to carry out earthwork and asphalting. Motorists can expect a reduced speed limit of 60km/h between 6am and 6pm.

From Monday, there will be five days of work along the Pacific highway at Glenugie to carry out asphalting and install drainage. Motorists travelling south can expect a reduced speed limit of 60km/h between 7am and 6pm.

On Friday, there will be one night of work on the pacific Highway at Devils Pulpit to carry out asphalting. Motorists can expect lane closures and traffic control between 6pm and 6am.

Additional changes to local roads

From next week, the bus drop-off and pick up location at Whytes Lane West at Pimlico will be permanently moved to a new bus stop at Whytes Lane Pimlico, east of the Pacific Highway, weather permitting.

From Monday, there will be up to five days of work on Old Bagotville Road and Thurgates Lane at Wardell to carry out drainage work. Motorists can expect lane closures, a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h and short stoppages at times between 7am and 6pm.

Also from Monday, there will be six days of work on Chatsworth Road North at Chatsworth Island to carry out asphalting on the overpass bridge. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and short stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm.

Further south from Monday, there will be six days of work on the new bridge at Jubilee Street, Townsend. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and increased stoppages to allow access to the site.

Line marking will be carried out for five days on Eight Mile Lane at Glenugie from Monday. Motorists can expect lane closures, a reduced speed limit of 40km/h and short stoppages between 7am and 6pm.

From Thursday, there will be two nights of work on Jackybulbin Road, Jackybulbin Flat to carry out pavement work. Motorists can expect lane closures and traffic control between 6pm and 6am.
