Grafton C.W.A. and South Grafton Evening branch have given our assistance to the catering depot of the R.F.S by cooking home made biscuits and slices to be delivered out to our brave fire fighters on the ground and to our wonderful aerial fire fighters in the sky based at the Grafton Airport. These men and women have rendered a great voluntary service to our area, and our contribution to these wonderful volunteers was greatly appreciated. We of C.W.A. thank you for your services.
Christmas lunch was celebrated at the Clock Tower Hotel, and a very enjoyable lunch was served. This was our final meeting for 2019 and we wish to thank everyone for their participation throughout the year, and the Clarence Valley Independent newspaper, Daily Examiner, and the North Coast Review for publishing our reports. May all our members have a well earned rest and an enjoyable break with families and have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Our next meeting will be February 14 in our Duke Street rooms, with morning tea being served at 9.30am and the meeting commencing at 10am. Any ladies wishing to join us will be made most welcome.
