Last weekend ATLA  (Australian Traditional Longboarding Association) held a junior camp at Minnie Waters. Participants came from far and wide including Scotts Head, Coffs Harbour, Yamba, Evans Head, Byron Bay and Noosa. Head coach Daffy Chisholm overlooked coaching sessions, older surfers mentored new up and coming surfers, and great improvements in surfing were noted over the weekend. With games, surf films, a huge feast, tepee and a bonfire a great weekend was had by all. Keep an eye out for the next event which will be open to all.                             Di Ellis
