Another donation by local choir
Coral Kempnich, the Vice President of the Lower Clarence Community Choir was delighted to hand over a cheque for $1,500 to the Executive Committee of the Maclean Lower Clarence District Hospital Auxiliary last Monday week.
Mrs Kempnich commented that the Maclean District Hospital is so vitally important to the Lower Clarence community and the Hospital Auxiliary provides such wonderful assistance, that the charity service support program of the choir has been a committed contributor for many years.
“The community supports the Lower Clarence Community Choir and its yearly program of concerts and performances so the choir membership sees it as only right that they return this support to the people of the Lower Clarence through charitable donation”. Said Mrs Kempnich.
The representatives of the Hospital Auxiliary Sandra Bradbury (President), Rhonda Shaw (Secretary) and Rita Nutt (Treasurer) were most appreciative of the donation again this year and said that it would be put to good use in the service of hospital patients. Rita Nutt mentioned that the Community Choir’s donations over the last four years had amounted to $4,500.00 – an outstanding contribution.
