Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan has announced $80,000 for the Rural Fires Service to construct Airbase Tanks in Casino and Grafton. “Building new emergency infrastructure like this is essential to our region,” Mr Hogan said. “These new Airbase Tanks for Casino and Grafton will help reduce the impact of bushfires in our community and to reduce the losses that can occur. “While natural hazards like bushfires are a fact of life in Australia, our community is stepping up efforts to manage the risks. “It is only by working together that we can reduce the potentially destructive impacts of future disasters such as bushfires.”
