More than 40 members (and their partners) from the Queensland, Victoria, and NSW divisions of the Australian Beer Can Collectors Association (ABCCA) journeyed to Iluka on July 16 and 17 to renew their acquaintances at the annual beer can collectors gathering, held at the Iluka Bowling Club.

The event has been held in the Clarence Valley since 2014, with members embracing the opportunity to catch up with one another once again and discuss all things connected to breweries, including collectable memorabilia from tap tops, beer glasses, key rings, and of course, beer cans.

A couple of members brought boxes of beer cans to trade with each other over the weekend in the hope of finding that elusive or hard to find beer can, to add to their collection, or complete previously attained sets and series.

Members are looking forward to attending the event again in 2024.
