A beautiful morning to play golf but one member turned up to play without her clubs but finally tracked them down in time to hit off! Di started off with a “fish” on the 1st then had to fish again to try and find her ball in the water hazard. Meredith had a chip-in on the 2nd and put 3 balls in the 7th waterhole. Bev put a ball in the water on the 1st and also the 7th from the 9th fairway. Colleen tried to “nest” in a tree on the 3rd and it couldn’t be found but what a sight to see four ladies with their heads stuck in a bush trying to find the ball! I am told Colleen did it again on the 8th. Marilyn had a ball lost on the 3rd and played a JC on the 4th. Jenny , Karen and Cath had JCs and Colleen played 2. Heather M put 2 in the 4th and Shirley put 1 in the 7th. Marie visited the “beach” on the 8th and took 5 hits to get out. Di Alderman won Trish’s raffle. Next Saturday is the final round of the championships and there will be a Tombola. Gwen Mulherin
