Yamba surfers Lilly Ellis and Frank Murphy made it to the finals of their divisions at the Australian Surf Festival, completed at Coffs Harbour over the weekend – body board events will be completed by August 17.
Ellis placed fourth in the Open Women’s Longboard event, behind now two-times Australian champion Emma Webb (Jan Juc, Vic). Ellis finished second in the U18 Girls final.
Frank Murphy gained third places in the both the U18 Boys and Junior Logger finals.
Joel Skinner was equal seventh in the Open Men’s Longboard and equal ninth in the Open Loggers. Sports
