Yamba ladies Monthly Medal winners

Wednesday’s Round 2 of the 2023 Championships was played in cool conditions for the 55 players. The day’s big news was Janine Zietsch who recorded an Eagle on the Par 5 – 14th hole. Absolutely thrilling Janine!

Div 1: Nett winner was Jennifer Fagan (70); Gross winner was Tana Lowe (83); Nett r/up was Janine Zietsch (71) and the Putting and Overall Putting was won by Tana Lowe (28). Div 2: Di Sigle scooped the pool winning Nett (72), Gross (99) and Putting (29). Kim Lipscombe was Nett r/up (75).  Div 3: Jo King was back in form winning Gross (107) and Nett (73). Sandra Russo (75) was Nett r/up and the best Putter (30).

In the Nine-Hole competition, Carol Miller starred with her fabulous score (19pts). Joy Williams was the NTP winner.

Tough flag positions and fast greens were challenging during Friday’s Stroke round (Round 3 – 2023 Championships) which involved 53 players.

Div 1: Nett winner was Val Pate (74) and Nett r/up was Janette Blair (75). Gross winner was Tana Lowe (88) and the Putting was won by Margaret Solomon (27).

Gail Scobie (68/98) won Div 2 Nett and Gross. Lynne Donsworth was r/up Nett (74) and Denise Ginn won the Putting (29).

Sandra Russo played solidly to win Nett and Gross in Div 3 (70 c/b/109) and Julie Duncan was Nett r/up (70). Lesley Love won the Putting (29). Balls – to 77 nett c/b.

Chilly Saturday conditions greeted the five ladies who played Single Stableford. Tana Lowe continues in excellent form winning with (35pts) and taking the SeaFire Restaurant NTP.
