In Emma Pritchard’s article re the lottery winner (CVI 21/4/21) she describes Yamba as “idyllic”. Well, it used to be, but hardly any longer.

Crowded, expensive, dirty, unsafe. It is not referred to as ‘Baby Byron’ for nothing. I got out when I saw what was coming. Such a crying shame. It once WAS idyllic, now it’s just a disaster!
