Yamba Day VIEW February AGM

Welcome back to all our members, do hope we all had a pleasant break over the summer holidays. Along with many others during the busy season we certainly appreciate getting back to normal, now with our ability to leave and enter our property without the incredible wait to get out of our driveways. Our first Committee meeting will be held on February 8 at the Bowlo. Due to current arrangements with the caters, our regular time slot will be temporally changed for luncheon meetings, now to be held on a Wednesday; starting this month on Wednesday 17 at 10am. This will also be our club’s AGM, so ladies, give some thought as to who you wish on your Committee to act on your behalf. I take this opportunity to express thanks to the 2020 members and Committee who kept the club operational during a difficult year. We should be very proud of the fact that our first sponsored student passed from primary school to high school through the ‘Learning for Life Programme’ and the assistance we have been able to provide for him. A further four students are on our books, so if you wish to be a part of this worthy cause, come along and see what we are able to present to our members, and along the way enjoy the company. Phone Lyn on 66463164. A reminder that membership fees are also due at this meeting. When the power of LOVE overtakes the love of POWER, the world will be a much better place! Lyn Hinrichsen
