“Yippee” day for Osprey RSL Day Club

OK this is the week! We are so looking forward to welcoming you all back on Friday and catching up with your news and sharing a few laughs. You almost didn’t get an editorial this week because my mouse died! It was a beautiful mouse, all covered in diamonds and given to me years ago by a very dear friend. Alarm bells began to ring because I am technologically challenged at the best of times, and between my arthritic fingers and a wobbly eye, I just could not work my way around the laptop. So, off I went to the mobile shop in the hope that they had a mouse. Being of the old school and grammatically correct, I asked “do you sell mice, mine has just died?” Anyway, the lovely young man smiled graciously and said “yes, but not in stock; I can have one here for you first thing in the morning, and in the meantime, I will lend you my mouse to get you out of trouble”. How nice was that? So, you have your editorial, and I was able to finish my tax return! See, there are some lovely young people around who care, and who are so willing to share their knowledge, and with patience. So, that’s all from me today. See you on Friday, bright eyed and bushy tailed. If you need a lift or information, please ring Leanne on 0413 101 518. Sue Gunning
