Marie Boots played her card right on Monday August 24 the Yamba Bowling Club Tournament. Marie was the outright winner with a top score of 10 games Judy Butcher came in second on 9 games. The lone hand donated by Mary Corcoran was won by Robyn Causley. On Thursday August 27 Joan Green, Judy Butcher and Jean White tied for first place with 9 games each. The lone hand prize was won by Jean White which was donated by Dot Evans. Monday August 31 Joan Pullen was the out right winner with 11 games, second place was a tie between three players with 10 games; they were Neil Franey Jean White and Glenda Davis. Lila Harris won the lone hand prize which was donated by Avery Austin. Monday August monthly winner was Judy Butcher with 34 games. Thursday September 3 Peter Haling was ahead of the pack with an excellent score of 12 games. The winners of the evening Joan Green, Flo Stephens, Glenda Davis and Gert Rotermund came in second with 8 games each. Eileen Donaldson won the lone hand prize which was donated by Dot Evans.
