Yamba and Maclean Mitre 10’s awards

Two Clarence Valley Mitre 10 stores have won accolades at the recent annual Independent Hardware Group NSW/ACT State Awards Dinner with the Yamba and Maclean stores taking home awards.

The 2023 Independent Hardware Group NSW/ ACT Awards dinner and presentation was held at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific on October 13, with both Maclean Mitre 10 manager Jo Luland and Yamba Mitre 10 owners Matthew and Alison White making the trip south for the event.

Backing up its two awards from the Hardware Australia 2022 NSW Hardware and Industry Legend Awards, Yamba Mitre 10 won the Northern Independents Village Small Store of the Year for the third year running.

“Thank you to all our amazing staff, it really is a team effort, our team really are the best and thanks to our fantastic customers, couldn’t do it without you,” Matthew and Alison White posted social media.

Maclean Mitre 10 manager Jo Luland was excited to collect the Northern Independents Village Large Format Store of the Year.

“Thank you to all our customers that continually support our store,” Jo Luland posted on social media.

“Massive congratulations to all our staff members, it really is a whole team effort.

“Exciting things happening instore and can’t wait to keep striving to be bigger and better.”

In addition, the Northern Independents Village won state village of the year for the fourth consecutive year.
