Grafton Hockey Association entered three teams in the recent Half State Women’s Masters Championships, competing in the Over 60s Over 45s and Over 34s age groups. The teams competed strongly throughout the round games, with all teams making the grand finals.

The Over 34s proved too strong for Sydney East Hockey Association, with a comfortable 2-0 win.

The Over 45s lost in the final minutes of their game to Hunter.

The Over 60s, who played more games than any other age division, ground out a 0-0 draw against North Sydney and Beaches, being named Joint Premiers.

The weekend was a lot of fun both on and off the field, with lots of new friendships formed, and much anticipation for Masters 2023 to be hosted by Taree.
