How good to read last week’s Clarence Valley Independent, our local paper back again to its normal size, with our full tv guide, fishing guide and a good range of Letters to the Editor as well as plenty of local news.

The paper has 3 full pages of information about Iluka’s Mermaid Festival next month and the “Helpful green waste tips for the Clarence Valley” are spot-on with plenty of waste-saving ideas that don’t cost the Earth.

And it shouldn’t cost the Earth to make a small donation to ensure our Clarence Valley Independent continues to provide us with a full tv guide for decades to come in the future we choose for those we treasure.
