This week Council will replace sections of watermain as part of the Water Main Replacement Program in the following locations in Yamba:

• High Street
• Clarence St between Coldstream Street and High Street

Horizontal directional drilling was due to commence on Tuesday November 15 (7am to 4pm daily) and take approximately one week (weather permitting) with the remainder of work commencing in early 2023. Driveway access, parking and water supply to some properties may be interrupted during this period. Affected residents and businesses have been notified.

There will be some traffic restrictions and traffic control will be in place. Motorists in the area are advised to take care.
