Valley churches & school’s unite to spread Christmas spirit

After a few years of interruption to public events due to Covid -19, the churches of the Lower Clarence decided last year to combine their efforts and put on a community Christmas Carols event.

The churches were joined by Pacific Valley Christian School and Valley Hope Christian School who hosted a wonderful Family Fun Day and Christmas Carols which attracted over 500 people.

The public are invited to attend a community Christmas Carols afternoon this Sunday from 2pm to 7pm.

Pastor Steve Stuttle from The Gathering said, “This year we are expecting it to be bigger and better. The churches of the Lower Clarence work well together in unity, holding combined church services four times a year. We believe by combining our resources we can help put on a great event for the Community while sharing the Christmas Story. And it’s wonderful that the Christian Schools work in with the local churches as well to support this event”.

Churches involved are:

Clarence Valley Community Church, Lower Clarence Baptist Church, Wellspring, The Gathering, Maclean Anglican Church, St. Mary’s Parish Catholic Church, New Life Church.
