TLC looking forwards

Members of Yamba’s community radio station TLCFM were on hand at the Yamba River Market last Sunday August 27, for its annual support drive. Listeners were invited to fill out a survey, which is being conducted by market research agency McNair – this survey can be filled out online by going to the station’s website, tlcfm.com.au, until September 4. Meanwhile, people who make a donation to the station, to help pay the bills and keep the station on air, can win the following prizes: A weekend stay for two people at Angourie Rainforest Resort; one of three $100 vouchers to dine at the Indian Fusion Bar & Restaurant – 3 Vouchers to the value of $100 each; a comprehensive veterinary consultation at Angourie Road Veterinary Surgery; and a $25 vouchers for Caperberry Cafe, SPAR Maclean, SPAR Yamba; and, lego to the value of $100. This initiative also closes on September 4 – call the station 6646 1100; or 0419 362 733 to make a donation. A spokesperson for the station said: “We broadcast community announcements, weather, emergency information, and a huge range of music that you won’t hear in the mainstream media. “Your donation helps the station to function and ensures you continue to hear content that reflects the diversity of your community.”
