Just after 2pm on Saturday afternoon the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by Ambulance New South Wales to a rural property at Modanville, north of Lismore to reports of a 15 year old female fallen heavily from a motorcycle. It was reported that the female was unconscious and had serious injuries. 

Local Ambulance Paramedics arrived on scene and commenced treatment of the teenager prior to the arrival of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Critical Care Medical Team. Due to the seriousness of the head injury the teenager was placed on life support by the medical team prior to being flown direct to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
