Vintage car enthusiasts are gearing up for their first Swap Meet in the Clarence Valley in three years.

Organised by the Grafton Vintage Motor Vehicle Club, the community event is a unique opportunity for treasure hunters and restorers to buy, swap or sell rare spares, parts and panels from and for pre-loved vehicles.

The Swap Meet will also feature market stalls, along with a tractor and vintage car display.

The Lions Club of Maclean will provide catering for the event, with several attendees booking camp sites over the weekend for $10.

Proceeds from the Swap Meet will also be donated to the Maclean Hospital Auxiliary.

The Swap Meet will be held at the Maclean Showground on September 18. Gates open at 6am.
