It was heartening to see the amount of community support behind YambaCAN’s recent efforts to call a halt to development on the West Yamba floodplain (as reported by you). The numbers who attended the recent presentation to Council’s April meeting no doubt were most disappointed to see Cr Clancy’s well researched and professionally supported motion defeated.

So – now more affirmative action is needed. We need to lobby the appropriate members of the State Government.
