Sausage sizzle raises over $1200

Emma Pritchard

Popular community radio station Loving Life FM103.1 raised more than $1200 to assist with the upgrade of their new antenna system to provide a clearer signal for their listeners when they hosted a sausage sizzle at Bunnings in South Grafton on December 2.

Clarence Valley residents also had the opportunity to meet the team behind the microphone during their live broadcast at the venue from 7am.

Loving Life FM103.1 would like to extend their appreciation to local businesses for their support throughout the event, including Holiday Coast Meats for kindly donating the sausages for the barbeque, Sundown Bakery for delivering several loaves of bread, Clarence Valley Wholesalers for providing napkins and sauces, Farmer Lous in South Grafton for generously donating bags of onions, and Grafton Car Wash for providing bags of ice.

Loving Life FM103.1 would also like to thank everyone who came along and supported the event, including Eric from the Grafton Community Shed who helped with the setting up and packing up.

The local radio station is also excited to celebrate 25 years on air next year, and they are truly proud to be part of the Clarence Valley community.
