Relatives invited to commemorative service

As the Commemoration of the Centenary of the Grafton Cenotaph on Remembrance Day, November 11, approaches, members of the Clarence River Historical Society (CRHS) are inviting the families of the men, whose names are listed on the cenotaph, to contact them ahead of the event.

Unveiled in remembrance of the fallen soldiers from World War I (WWI) on November 11, 1923, by their mothers, the cenotaph commemorates those who died in service, or were killed in action, in a number of conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
