Chief co-ordinator at the Nymboida Recovery Hub, Gray Stride wished to thank the Red Cross for donating six tickets to the Nymboida community, to attend last week’s Elton John concert in Coffs Harbour. The Red Cross also came up with motel accommodation for the night.

“The tickets were donated to the Nymboida community to nominate somebody and there were about 20 or 30 names that went into the hat and I was one of the names drawn out,” Gray said.

“I was very lucky and I just wanted to thank the Red Cross for providing the tickets and for the opportunity to attend this performance,” he said.
