Visiting artist Meagan Jacobs will be running a mixed media painting workshop at Kingstudio, Maclean as part of Plunge 2017. The workshop dates are Saturday and Sunday, April 8-9 and will offer a great opportunity for students to learn new skills in a supportive environment, from complete beginners to the more advanced artist. Meagan is an interesting artist and gifted tutor, she has work extensively in the Northern Territory and on the South Coast of NSW. Meagan’s weekend workshop will have your imagination running wild. Combining collage, drawing/mark making and painting, Meagan will guide you towards a different free way of interpreting the landscape while stimulating your creative intuition and personal expression. The Imagined Landscape mixed media painting workshop will be held at Kingstudio, 105 River Street, Maclean from 10am to 4pm. The cost is $300. Accommodation is available at Kingstudio B&B for a limited number of participants @ $100 per single – Includes breakfast and light lunches.
