Nice to see a follow up of my letter last week (CVI 24/1/24) on petrol price gouging.

Having read your follow up journalist piece it’s unbelievable that the excuse for High petrol prices in Yamba is because freight companies charge to leave the freeway. Well, you must leave the freeway to go to Tyndale, Tucabia and Grafton so it’s a very lame excuse that the ACCC and petrol commissioner should look into and stop this alleged impost. Furthermore, Yamba petrol stations should get their petrol where Grafton, Tyndale, Tucabia and Townsend get theirs… all off the freeway and look after Yamba locals.
