New Chamber of Executive Management Committee announced at AGM

The Grafton Chamber of Commerce welcomed more than 30 attendees to their 2023 AGM, held at the Clocktower Hotel in Grafton on October 18, where a new Chamber of Executive Management Committee was formally elected.

Grafton Chamber of Commerce Treasurer and MC for the morning Glenn Thompson took the opportunity to acknowledge the contributions made by the former executive team and complimented them on the “massive amount of time and energy” they had devoted to the Chamber, describing it as being “in a great position.”

After Business NSW Regional Director for the Northern Rivers Jane Laverty officially declared the positions vacant, nominees were invited to step forward and assume their new roles.

Carol Pachos was welcomed back as the President of the Grafton Chamber of Commerce after vacating the position two years ago to focus on her role as Practice Manager of Ochre Medical Centre in Grafton.

Describing herself as thankful to be given the opportunity to serve her community, Ms Pachos revealed she is excited and privileged to take the Grafton Chamber of Commerce forward once again and expressed her gratitude to the former and current members of the Executive Management Committee.

While he was unable to attend the AGM last week, Michael Casement was officially welcomed as the new Vice President.

The new members of the Chamber of Executive Management Committee are Carol Pachos, Michael Casement, Glenn Thompson, Lisa Busch, John Myers, Jeremy Jablonski, Jennifer McLellan, and Josh Freeman.
