National Children’s Week in the Clarence Valley

National Children’s Week will be held from October 22-30.

This annual event celebrates children’s rights, talents and citizenship.

To support families and children throughout the Clarence Valley, a working party consisting of Clarence Childhood Services Association, Momentum, Wesley Parent’s Next and Liveable, has been formed as part of the Clarence Valley Child and Family Network.

Together, this working party is organising a special event to take place during National Children’s Week to bring local organisations together.

This will be a great opportunity for Clarence Valley residents to come together to promote local services and reconnect with one another.

It will also allow families to find out more about the services which are available to them in their local area.

Organisers are also hoping the collaboration of local services will lead to the establishment of an annual event to celebrate National Children’s Week locally.

Local organisations who are interested in participating in the upcoming event are invited to contact Lea Montey at Clarence Childhood Services on 6643 1002 or email lea@cfdc.com
