Motorfest date draws near

It will now be a few months, before one of the biggest motoring events in the Clarence Valley, highlighting the many distinct categories of motor vehicle history in our area is due to take place..

Promoted by the Grafton Vintage Motor Vehicle Club and sponsored by Benny’s Grafton Smash Repairs, the event is scheduled for Sunday August 28, at the club’s headquarters, located at Jabour Park Minden Street, South Grafton.

Vehicles of all types, age and history will be on display and will feature vintage, classic, and modern with the featured marque being a special display of Volkswagen product.

There will also be a unique display of vintage caravans, which has experienced great interest at past exhibitions.

This will be the 3rd attempt to conduct the Motorfest, with the two previous dates postponed due to Covid restrictions.

Organisers for the event are confident that our date on Sunday, 28th August 2022 will proceed.

Entry to the Jabour Park facility will open at 7am with entry forms for intending participants available on the day;  the entry fee is just $5 for cars, bikes and trucks. Judging for the various classes, will take place between 9am and 11am, presentation of prizes to be held at 2pm.

Apart from the motoring display there will be various exhibits of interest, together with various market stall holders.

Entry to the Motorfest by walk in spectators will be by gold coin donation and food and soft drink will be on sale throughout the day.
