Mother’s Day in the Garden

You are warmly invited to join local Woombah residents Robyn Mitchell, ‘seed whisperer’ and artist educator Cara MacLeod at the Woombah Wellness Community Gardens on Saturday May 8 at 10am

The workshops are on how to make an earthy seed bomb and seed raising. Both will help you to celebrate new life being created in our gardens. Come along and get your hands dirty in our mud kitchen and mix your own seed bombs full of seeds that will invite pollinators into your garden and/or learn how to start and germinate your own seedlings for the garden. Afterwards there will be lunch provided to share together in the park.

Spaces are limited to 20 families and/or individuals so get in early if you don’t want to miss out.  The workshops are free, however membership for the community garden is required in order to be covered by our insurance. Membership is $20 per person or $30 per family.

Please email woombah.residents.assoc@gmail.com for your booking.

*These activities are being provided through the Bushfire Recovery Community Grants Program, Healthy North Coast, Primary Health Network.
