Kevin Hogan…with a VIEW

You may wonder what VIEW is all about?

VIEW supports the educational outcomes of more than 1,450 disadvantaged children and young people. It is a national children’s charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to succeed at school, so that they can create a better future for themselves. Further information can be found when visiting www.view.org.au

It was a privilege to welcome the member for Page, Kevin Hogan, as guest speaker for the April VIEW Club meeting. Kevin spoke about his background, and information about the timeline for the Covid-19 vaccination to be administered across the country, and for those in the Northern Rivers.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration provisionally approved the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccination for use in Australia. Mr Hogan said that the TGA approval was an important step in the fight against Covid-19. He went on to say that our economy is one of the strongest globally. Members posed various questions, which were clearly answered by Mr Hogan.

On May 27, Grafton VIEW is volunteering to help Grafton District Services Club with The Biggest Morning Tea. Tickets for this occasion can be obtained at the GDSC at $10.

The next Grafton VIEW Club meeting will be on Tuesday May 25 at the Grafton District Services Club, Mary Street, Grafton, commencing at 10.30am. Please come along and enjoy new friendships, a lovely luncheon and sit back to be entertained by a motivated guest speaker. At the same time this will be an opportunity to support children in need.

Please phone Vorna at 6642 4719 for catering purposes, no later than the Friday before the meeting. See you there!
