It’s back! And it’s going to be bigger and better than ever.

The 2021 Maclean Show is being held on April 20 and 21, and the Clarence Valley community is being encouraged to support its long awaited return. Featuring a stellar line up of attractions including pavilion displays, show jumping, fireworks, a demolition derby and stunning aerial acrobatics by some very talented motorcycle riders, the 2021 Maclean Show is not to be missed.

Brian Ferrie, President of the Maclean Show Society, said many people are looking forward to attending the event next week. Following the unfortunate cancellation of the Maclean Show in 2018 and 2020 due to severe storm damage at the Maclean Showground and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Mr Ferrie said the Maclean Show Society are determined to see the event go ahead in 2021.

“It’s a popular event, it’s a major drawcard for Maclean and I’m so happy it’s coming back this year,” he said. “A lot of people have been working very hard behind the scenes to make it possible.” A main tourist attraction for the riverside township, the show will follow the 116th Maclean Highland Gathering in providing the local economy with a welcome boost.

Mr Ferrie is encouraging locals and visitors to the Clarence Valley to attend the show next week and participate in the fun filled festivities. The 2021 Maclean Show will also feature an exciting announcement when the name of the new pavilion at Maclean Showground is revealed at 3pm on April 21. Tim Capp, President of the Agricultural Societies Council of NSW will be the special guest in attendance. Covid-19 marshals will also be at Maclean Showground to ensure spectators and visitors are able to enjoy the atmosphere and ambience of the show safely, with the event running in conjunction with current NSW health guidelines.

Automatic hand sanitisers will be established on site and all participants are encouraged to abide by social distancing rules. Mr Ferrie said as long as people do the right thing to ensure the safety of others, the 2021 Maclean Show is sure to be a success.
