Presentation night has been set for Saturday January 8 at 6:30pm. Cost is $25 and open to all bowlers and their partners. Place your name on the sheet on the noticeboard.
For the month of December all Wednesday and Friday social bowls will be playing for hams for winners.
Travelling Bowlers
Shirt design has been finalised and our order is placed. I expect to receive our order late January. Cost will be $20 for members. Don’t forget if you aren’t a member, it’s only $5 to become a part of the travelling group.
We have a trip booked to Ballina to play against the Sandflies on Sunday January 16. The bus will leave at 7am. Cost is $15 for the day including bowls, bus and lunch. We aim to leave about 2:30pm. Place your name on the sheet provided.

Community barefoot bowls program producing the next talent.
We would like to welcome the Arndell boys to the game. Tim, Peter & Josh have all recently joined up as Full bowling members.
All three have been products of our Friday night community challenge bowls. This concept brought together sporting organisations and charity groups in a 6 week competition to play for a share in the $1500 sponsorship prize for their group.
Tim & Peter were a part of this seasons winning team with the Ambo’s representing the Hospital Auxillary. While Josh has been a part of the Maclean Bobcats and Fire & Rescue teams over the last few seasons.
All 3 are now ready to take the next step and have a go at our sport more competitively. We can’t wait to see these guys in amongst our competition as they all have shown some very early promise and talent.
For anyone wanting to have a go at our sport we are providing social bowls every Friday night at 6pm, names in by 5:30pm, and Saturdays at 2pm, names in by 1:30pm, as a way of introducing people to the game. We have a good mix of players that are involved in many sports that we sponsor including the Darts club, Cricket club, Soccer club, Netball club and many more.
