Loal business nominated for 2024 Australian Trades Awards

Yamba based Gray’s Marine & Welding has been named a finalist in the Champion Metal Fabrication category for the 2024 Australian Trades Small Business Champion Awards.

The spotlight is set to shine on Australia’s most influential and outstanding trade-based businesses, with celebrations to be held at the Star Sydney on Friday, August 23.

The Australian Trades Small Business Champion Awards is the only national program of its kind to recognise achievements and honour trades in small business across 42 industry categories.

“This program is a celebration of Trades in small business, aiming to provide recognition of incredible trade leaders, and the invaluable contribution they make to the Australian way of life. When the Champion Judges evaluate the entries, they are looking at all aspects of a winning business; business strategies, customer service, vision, support of the local community and growth, just to name a few,” says Steve Loe, Awards Founder and Managing Director of Precedent Productions, which coordinates the Australian Trades Small Business Champion Awards.

“The importance of the trades sector in this country has never been more important, especially during the last few years with a challenging economic climate and increasing uncertainty in the building and construction sector,” Steve said.

Gray’s Marine & Welding will represent their local community at the upcoming evening in August. Their passion, dedication, commitment, and hard work will be recognised and celebrated amongst their peers in an experience they will never forget.
