Live ‘n’ Loud in the library

Young Clarence Valley residents are invited to get live ‘n’ loud in the Sir Earle Page Library and Education Centre in Grafton next month. The library will open its doors from 6-9pm on Thursday, April 14, for young musicians to perform live in front of their friends in an alcohol and drug free environment. Regional librarian, Kathryn Breward, said the music industry was a popular career option for young people and this event would give youth in the Clarence Valley a taste of the performing arts. She encouraged young musicians to contact the library to be included in the line-up. The event is open to individuals and bands under 18 years of age. Sets are to be a maximum of five songs. Entry is by gold coin donation. Interested young musicians looking for an opportunity to perform, or who would like more information, should contact the library on 6641 0101 or email graftonlib@crl.nsw.gov.au
