Sixty five millimetres of rain fell during the week, giving the course a very welcome drink.

The Wednesday Chook run was affected and did not proceed due to the inclement weather, although the weekend was fine and sunny for both the ladies and the men’s competitions.

Saturday ladies was a Stoke event with Robyn Barlow (nett 41) prevailing by one shot over Bev Ensbey (42).

NTP was Liza Sharpe and least putts was another tied affair with Bev Ensbey winner on c/b from Robyn Barlow (16 putts).

Sunday men’s was also a Stroke event.

The 9-hole comp taken out by Arthur King (nett 32) from Ryan Hubbard (nett 33).

The 18-hole comp winner was Theo Shepherd (nett 71) on a c/b from Arnold Boon.

NTP on the fourth was Kerry Cook and on the fifth Trevor Simpson with least putts won by Tom Mammen (12)

Club balls to Sue Boon and Trevor Simpson.
