Glorious weather greeted players across the weekend.

Saturday’s ladies Stroke event was taken out by Bev Ensbey (nett 44) with Pat Harris r/up (nett 46).

NTP was Nancy Commerford with Pat Harris in the clubhouse with least putts (13).

The men’s Sunday events were sponsored by TLE Yamba.

The 9-hole event was won by Ryan Hubbard (nett 32) beating Colin Wheeler (nett 34).

The 18-hole event was taken out by Theo Sheppard (nett 66) in a close battle with James Welsh (nett 67).

NTP on the 5th hole was Colin Wheeler with least putts going to Ryan Hubbard (14).

Club balls awarded to Rodney Want and Dennis Hardwick.

Last Wednesday’s Chook Run was taken out by Tomm Mammen (nett 28) from Peter Starr (nett 36).

Drive n Pitch on the 4th won by David Lorenzo.

Least putts – Max Withnell (16).

The Club also hosted the Jacaranda Hotel Social Club who were playing the first round of their Club Championship.

A Grade winner was Dennis Heath (nett 35.5) holding out Bill Darby (nett 39.5); B Grade saw Gerry McMullan (nett 34.5) with Pat Hagan runner up (nett 35.5); C Grade winner was Sue Hagen (nett 40.5) nudging out Kirsten Heilers (nett 41.5).

Longest drives: Ladies – Sue Hagen; A Grade – Terry Shinn; B Grade – Gerry McMullan; C Grade – Greg Kilner.

NTP on the 5th hole was Terry Shinn.

A great day had by all.
