There were 70 ladies in our Foursomes format last Wednesday September 22. Ann Groom and Val Pate were clear winners (112.75) ahead of Robyn Brockwell and Nadene Carroll (115.25). In 3rd place, Glen Czarnota and Judy Palich teamed well (115.75) to beat Sandra Wallace and Meg Kulmar (116.25).

Our 9-hole competition had 14 players for their single Stableford format. Congratulations to Joy Williams who played a fabulous round to win (21pts). Stephany Moreton won the 3rd NTP.
Our single Stableford round on Friday attracted a field of 71 ladies. Once again, there were some great scores posted despite the blustery conditions which prevailed at times.
In Div 1, Kathy Parker (37pts) was the winner ahead of Janine Zietsch (36pts c/b).
Jo Simmons (40pts) played an excellent round to win Div 2, Penny Cope (38 pts) was runner up.
Sonya McLennan was on fire, winning Div 3 (42pts) with Judy Palich (41pts c/b) following close behind as runner up.
Our NTP winners included: Flots and Jets 3rd – Kathy Parker; Valley Finance 3rd (2nd) – Irene Williams; Peter Campbell Physio 9th (2nd) – Kathy Parker; Kitchen to Table 10th – Jenny Dewar; Amie Rose Beauty 12th -Suzanne Scott; Nicholson’s Fine Foods 17th – Kathy Parker and Yamba Pharmacy 17th (2nd) – Dulcie Nurse. Balls went to 34 pts c/b.
Ten ladies enjoyed perfect conditions last Saturday for the single Stableford competition. We also welcomed Belinda Richardson from Port Macquarie. Kylie Lowe had a sensational game, winning with 40pts. It’s been a pleasure to see the steady improvement in Kylie’s game. Congratulations to runner up, Kathy Parker, who continues to play well (33pts). NTP was won by Darrie Nightingale.
The first two rounds of the annual Mike Macqueen Memorial Shootout take place this week. Wednesday will be the 2BBB v Stroke round and Friday will follow with a 2-person Ambrose format. Good luck to all!
