Sunday 7th March, 2021.

On Sunday last, the Jacaranda Hotel Social Golf Club Team travelled South to
the Grafton District Golf Club, for a Single Stroke Event.
A very fine day, golf course in excellent condition and lots of greenery
around provided the Jaca., Team with a great day, to play a game of friendly
and social golf. Everybody was eager to get in and tee off including the
Handicapper, who had a big smile on his face, looking to knock some of the
big hitters off their perches.
A Grade was a very tough challenge with Bill Darby holding on (count-back)
to defeat Dennis Heath, both with a score of 39 Nett. Well done boys, Terry
has got you two again.
 In B Grade, the challenge was there and there was a surprise packet in the
field with the veteran Peter McLellan returning to the Club House with a
score of 39.5 Nett, to defeat the old timer and regular challenger David
Campbell who came home with a 40.5 Nett.
C Grade was no disappointment, with the very elegant Kirsten Heilers trying
very hard to pick up first prize from the hungry and under pressure Greg
Kilner, however Greg was not going to be denied and returned with a 42 Nett
score to insure that Kirsten was returned to as Runner Up. A very big thank
you to Mark Harvison and the Grafton District Golf Club, for their continued
support and valuable assistance. Also to Marcus and Theo from Charcoal
Chicken, thank you very much for the great refreshments provided by you guys
and your Team.
Everybody was well looked after back at the Jaca., by Narelle, Craig and the
new girl on the block Jacquie. Thank you to everybody for turning up last
Sunday for a FRIENDLY game of golf.
New members are welcome to come along and join the Jacaranda Hotel Social
Golf Club, we will look after you. Out next game will be on Sunday 4th
April, 2021. (Easter Sunday). Information TBA.
