Friday December 9

Winners – R. Leeson, C. Newstead & L. Medson; runners /up – F. Mayoh, B. Kembry & M. Connell. 

The final of the Minor Singles was played on Thursday December 8, with one shot determining the outcome. Jimmy Mitchell defeated Bob Macneil 25-24. 

Our final competition of the season, the Mixed Fours, was played on Saturday December 10 in rainy conditions that did not deter the spirit of the game. It was a deserving final and everyone played well. Congratulations to Gillian Wakefield, Leonie Lancaster, Ian Austin and Barry Lancaster defeating Lyn Briggs, Pam & Allan Kennedy & Jeff Minter 23-18.

Next week, hams for the winners and men’s Christmas BBQ will be on Wednesday December 21.
