Mixed Pairs final: We just recently completed the Mixed Pairs final with the teams of Lyn Briggs and Doug Burnes v Robyn Arthur and Rusty Leeson. It was a great final drawing a good crowd with Doug & Lyn taking the early lead. But as all good finals should be, the opposition fought back and, on the 18th end it was anyone’s game. Doug and Lyn won the last two ends to win the game 23-18. 

Mixed Fours: The final of the Mixed Fours is scheduled to be played on Saturday December 10 at 1pm: Jeff Minter’s team v Barry Lancaster’s team.

Don’t forget men’s bowls this Friday November 25, with a BBQ before the game at 12.30pm, single entry – boxed draw. 

Also, please RSVP for Bowls Presentation night which is to be held on Monday December 12 – Chinese smorgasbord, lucky door prizes, and presentation of awards. See Trudy or bar staff. Encouraging all bowlers and social bowlers to attend, only $18 pp.
