On a day that started out well, then became very blustery and cold, the ladies played a single Stableford – Skins for the President versus Captain Day sponsored by President Ann Dean and Captain Faye McClymont.

President Ann welcomed new members Joanne and Sandy and hoped they will continue to enjoy their golf with the ladies.  The magpies gave us a rest today, but one golf cart had a mishap and had to be towed – hoping for a speedy recovery.

Winners: 1st Div (0-30) Sue Burgess 38; 2nd Div (31-45) Emma Mills 40.

Runners up: 1st Div – Chris Kembrey 37; 2nd Div – Elly Beyer 37.

Team winner: President’s team – 320; Captain’s team – 358. 

NTP’s: 1/10 2nd shot (31-45) Elly Beyer; 6/15 2nd shot (0-30) Sandi Mayoh; 8/17 2nd shot (all players) Ann Dean – in the hole for 5 points.

The postponed 27-hole Ladies Foursomes Championships will now be played on October 13.

The nomination forms for committee positions are on the noticeboard and AGM will be after golf on October 20.
