Jack Attack

Our first week of Jack Attack competition was a great success with 10 teams registered. Anyone still interested in registering a team please contact the Club.

There are three more weeks of play on Fridays with the next game on November 26 arrive 5.30pm for 6pm start. Teams that accumulate the most points over the four weeks stand to win $500 for their chosen sporting organisation/charity/cause plus $150 for their team. Thanks to Jessica Alvaro, Regional Bowls Manager for Bowls Australia for assisting us in getting the competition up and running. Huge thanks to Sue & John Pollock, Ros Duncan, Trudy and Rob and Greg for helping out! Looking forward to next Friday.

Bowls visit

The Iluka Mixed Nomads held a fantastic day for the Tweed Heads Touring Bowlers on Sunday November 21 despite the rainy conditions.

Carpet bowls was a huge hit and an outdoor challenge match was held to determine the trophy winners during a reprieve in the weather. After six ends Michael & Clive v’s Barry and DJ with Tweed Heads victorious once again. A great day was had by all. See you again next year.
