  On Wednesday, December 2 the ladies played a 4 person Ambrose, shotgun start, sponsored by P O’Keefe, C Young, P Ryan, K Wiblen. The lucky winners on the day were C Forrester, J Parkes, S Youlten, J Studdon. Runners up went to S Forsythe, D Moore, S Jenkins, J Schipp. The team of C Forrester also took out both NTP on the 2nd and 17th. This was also the ladies presentation day however our Champion for 2015 Pat Harris was unable to attend due to other commitments, Pat dedicated her win to her brother who passed away earlier this year. Our 54 hole nett Champion, Helen Graney was presented with a beautiful marcasite bracelet from one of our past members, Marie Day, Marie generously sponsors this event every year, Helen was the envy of every lady in the club. Congratulations to these ladies and to every other lady who received winning trophies. It was also nice to see a few of our ladies who no longer play golf turn up for the occasion. We also wished a happy birthday to Pauline Ryan who I believe is well passed her used by date. Also our outgoing president jenny Apps was presented with some lovely flowers, and many thanks to her for the valuable experience and knowledge she has passed on to us, we hope she gets back to playing golf with us soon. Today December 9 the ladies are playing an 8 hole 3 person Ambrose event sponsored by Townsend general store, followed by our Christmas party, a good time is intended by all. Our Summer competitions begin on December 16 conditions of play are on the notice board in ladies room. We would like to wish everyone of our sponsors and all our ladies a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2016. Liz Pearcey
