With good numbers on the green Wednesday saw the three wise men B Elder/D Solomon/K O’Meara the winners and runners up two weeks in a row R Cavanagh/R Grant with lucky loser to A Graham/R Rooke the B&L Mowers Villiers St play of the day to R Cavanagh 13-20 R/T. Friday winners out of 60 plus players P Heath/C Clark/I McDonald, runners up were D Wood/R Douglas. Lucky loser P Chorley/K McWaters the B&L Mowers Villiers St play of the day to L Carter 13-28 R/T Mark Walsh was stiff he had 3. In Pennants on Saturday, only the No 7’s played at home to Maclean with Maclean putting up a great battle in the trying conditions and even the home side had trouble with the wind. The GDSC No 7’s won the day 10/0 with some great play from all players a real 12 man effort well done all. Team of J Ryan/G Samuels/A Gough/Kaos the best on green. Next Saturday afternoon we take on the comp leaders Brooms Head at the GDSC should be another great game. Some two bowl Open Pairs Championships and Major Triples Championships are set for play this Sunday.
