Fibromyalgia Support Group

What a “Topsy Turvey” year we have all been having. Covid-19 has certainly been devastating our lovely country.

Sadly, people have lost their lives, are fighting for their lives, and falling ill. Just when we seem to be making some headway the number of infected climbs again.

With parts of the country in lockdown and stay at home orders in place, many people have had their worlds turned upside down and missed out on much needed opportunities to catch up with friends and socialise.

With this in mind we have decided to resume our Fibromyalgia Support Group meetings this month. The October meeting will be held on Wednesday 20 at the Grafton District Services Club at 10am. Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month and are a great forum for people to talk and share their experiences as well as learn from each other.

Fibromyalgia is a very confronting and life changing condition that is very misunderstood, and even harder to treat, often requiring a multidisciplinary approach in an attempt to find some relief. Please come along, if you are affected by fibromyalgia in any way, either a sufferer or you care for someone who is.

If you have any inquiries, please contact Coleen Flynn on 0428 228 134 or Deborah O’Driscoll on 0434 031 295.
