The second annual Maclean Eat the Street Food and Beer Fest was held at the Maclean Bowling Club, on Saturday afternoon.

The event which was run in conjunction with The Design Collective Markets and Events, saw 20 food stalls open for the public, along with face painting and a jumping castle to keep the children happy.

Organisers said that crowd numbers were great, considering the amount of smoke surrounding the valley.

Live music by ‘Anna and Jed’ kicked off the afternoon, followed by Coffs Harbour musician Kailey Pallas.

Maclean Bowling Club assistant manager Aidan Daniels who coordinated all aspects of the day with council and The Design Collective Markets, said it was wonderful to see so many locals supporting the event and sampling the food, while relaxing on the club’s greens.
