An inter-club social day with Pottsville Croquet Club was held on Wednesday June 29. 

We were graced with wonderful weather and great company. Thirty-seven players participated, all enjoying the slick greens, which were in top condition, thanks to Graeme, Tony and Nat.

We played three paired games to the bell with morning tea after the second game, where we held a lucky draw for three bottles of port wine. The winners were Andrew F, Rosemary E, and Peter T. Lots of socialising during the morning and our Yamba Bowlo Croquet have been offered a return visit to Pottsville Club early in September, the date to be decided. 

The Rainbow pin scored again, thanks for the donations. Rainy Pearce from Pottsville, won and held the Sherriff’s badge for the morning, well done Rainy.

We thank our CEO Phil for is generosity and support and the staff involved to make this a very successful morning.

The rain put a stop to any play for Wednesday July 7.  We look forward to the play when the weather clears. Anyone wanting to join us for Golf Croquet, its Wednesday mornings, 8:30am to 11am. You can phone John Church 0438 768 049, or just turn up. The fee is $10, and equipment is supplied. Please wear flat soled shoes, to protect the greens.
